Our Fleet

KASI Aviation Services Inc. has recently expanded to a fleet of four PA31 Piper Navajos. Our aircraft can be dedicated or modified specifically for your geophysical or photo survey project, and have been carefully put together to minimize aircraft induced magnetic noise. Our first aircraft, C-GKSI, can provide an exceptionally low figure of merit of less than 0.6 nT (as measured to the standards of the Geological Survey of Canada).

Due to increasing demands for LiDAR & Airborne Camera operations, in 2014 we added a second PA31 Navajo to our fleet. C-GKSX is modified & ready to go with a 21″ x 21″ opening, suitable for a variety of Camera, LiDAR or hyperspectral installations. In 2015, KASI recognized the growing demand for their services and added C-GMEC to our fleet of PA31 Navajo’s.

Now, in 2020 a fourth aircraft has been added. C-GKSY, also a PA-31, is equipped with 1 camera hole, measuring 21″ x 21″ along with our fleet standard long range fuel tanks. All of KASI Aviation’s aircraft can be customized for the most intricate aerial surveys, where it be geophysics, LiDAR or airborne photo operations.

Our aircraft have been modified and optimized for various survey configurations including (but not limited to) the following modifications:
